Job summary

MVC Resources seeks a highly analytical Finance & Costing Analyst for a manufacturing facility in Perak. You will partner with plant leadership to drive budgeting, forecasting, product costing, and detailed financial analysis in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong Excel and ERP experience (SAP), English fluency, and the ability to collaborate across functions, with responsibilities spanning month-end close and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years in an audit firm or at least 4 years in finance/costing within manufacturing.
• Based in Perak (Seri Iskandar/Chemor/Lekir) for on-site interaction with plant leaders.
• Strong MS Excel skills and experience using ERP systems (SAP or similar).
• Fluency in English with good cross-functional communication.
• Power BI/Power Query knowledge is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Budgeting and forecasting for monthly and quarterly cycles, tracking CAPEX/OPEX and updating corporate systems.
• Monitor operating expenses and KPIs, perform variance analysis and reconcile headcount forecasts.
• Conduct mass product costing runs and support NPD/NPI costing with R&D and engineering teams.
• Manage inventory provisions and SAP material master data to prevent obsolescence.
• Perform month-end close activities, reconcile shipments to COGS, and prepare OPEX accruals.
• Support ad-hoc P&L simulations and governance initiatives.
