Opportunity Overview

  • Actively involved with Teradyne NPI Operations and Engineering for new products releases information.
  • Identify and coordinate with Nextest and contract manufacturer ensuring overall readiness of NPI at contract manufacturer.
  • Identify/Intervene critical design/manufacturing issues and driving contract manufacturer for solution.
  • Participate in PIP analysis, support field quality issue investigation and corrective action.
  • Perform data analysis and drive projects to improve factory yield and PIP performance.
  • Monitoring/checking in-site related processes and provides appropriate suggestions in problem solving, communications, escalation, etc.
  • The candidate shall join critical/key issues discussions and bridge between contract manufacturer and Nextest NPI team.
  • The individual must possess a broad range of design and development skills and experience, with a proven record of leading teams from product conceptual stage into mass production.
  • Align with Nextest NPI team and CM on manufacturing procedures regularly and update to the latest revision.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechatronics or Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or other relevant majors.
  • Experience in complex Electro-Mechanical assembly, understanding technical drawings, SolidWorks and electrical system would be key advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully bring products from NPI phase to mass production.
  • Ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good operational, leadership and interpersonal skills with excellent drive and enthusiasm.
  • Flexibility, persistence, resourceful, a drive to succeed.
  • Analytical, team player, mature thinking, organized and high sense of urgency.
  • Flexible working at multiple time zones and travel for training or audit.
