Job summary

TE Connectivity Manufacturing Malaysia is seeking an Industrial Engineer to establish and deploy IE systems for a new factory setup in Penang. You will support line layout planning, standard time definitions, capacity and manpower modeling to ensure smooth ramp-up and target achievement.

You will conduct time studies, maintain standard work, drive Lean and continuous improvement, and collaborate with ME, Production, Quality, Planning and Finance to boost efficiency and OEE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years IE or Manufacturing Engineering experience.
• Experience in new factory or production ramp-up is a plus.
• Hands-on production layout experience, including AutoCAD layout drawing capability.
• Strong IE methodology knowledge (time study, capacity, line balance).
• Familiar with Lean / Kaizen / Continuous Improvement.
• Proficient in Excel; SAP/MES knowledge preferred.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
