Job summary

Bruker (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to act as the primary manufacturing interface for new and existing hardware products. You will collaborate with AFM Manufacturing Engineering to support development builds and ongoing improvements, ensuring adherence to Bruker’s quality and performance standards.

You will create CAD models, prepare ECOs, and develop processes, tooling and documentation, while working with design engineers to align manufacturing

Qualifications

• Advanced skills creating/editing part, assembly, and drawing files in Solidworks and SolidEdge.
• Experience in creation and interpretation of GD&T.
• Extensive knowledge of product BOM structures and their management.
• Track record of writing ECOs (Engineering Change Orders).
• SAP experience with material masters, BOMs, routings.
• Strong understanding of complex electromechanical assemblies.
• Ability to influence product and process design changes with data and collaboration with other engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Create CAD models and drawings per requirements in Solidworks/SolidEdge.
• Prepare ECOs for parts, BOMs, routings, and product documentation.
• Prepare and revise company procedures per process requirements.
• Develop Manufacturing Processes, Documentation, Tooling, and Test Fixtures.
• Collaborate with Design Engineers to define manufacturing specifications.
• Support new product development builds and ongoing improvements in a manufacturing environment.
