Overview

We're Hiring: Manufacturing Engineer / Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Gelang Patah, Johor

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday

Join our client, a global leader in aerospace component manufacturing and repair, delivering high-value solutions to major OEMs and MROs across commercial and defense platforms.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and manage manufacturing process sequences from raw material receipt to finished part shipment.
  • Develop new processes using solid modeling; create and update work instructions per engineering drawings/specs.
  • Design tooling, fixtures, and gauges.
  • Lead APQP activities, including pilot runs and associate training.
  • Provide technical support to Production to meet quality and technical standards.
  • Liaise with OEMs on product requirements, process qualifications, and technology development.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives via Barnes Enterprise System.
  • Support RFQ proposal development and other engineering-related tasks.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in precision engineering, aerospace component manufacturing, or mass manufacturing.
  • Proficient in CAD software (Siemens NX Unigraphics preferred).
  • Skilled in CNC machining and CAD/CAM programming.
  • Strong knowledge of tool and fixture design.
  • Able to interpret customer drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Excellent project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with IoT sensors/gateways, hardware testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with special processes (heat treatment, welding, non-conventional machining).
Education
  • Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Aeronautical Engineering.
