This full-time Assistant Manufacturing Manager position at ELTA FANS MALAYSIA SDN. As an Assistant Manufacturing Manager, you will contribute to the overall efficiency and productivity of the manufacturing process, ensuring that ELTA FANS MALAYSIA SDN. What you'll be doing

1. Overseeing the day-to-day manufacturing operations to meet production targets in accordance with set quality standards with a cost-effective mindset.
2. Monitoring production schedules, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing solutions to improve efficiency.
3. Analyzing production data and providing recommendations for process improvements.
4. Monitoring and evaluating the accuracy and quality of work across all sections.
5. Collaborating with other department managers to resolve interdepartmental challenges and align on shared goals.
6. Ensuring all inventory is accurately labeled and organized for efficient retrieval and stock control within the work area.
7. Supporting the planning and optimization of equipment and assembly floor layouts to improve workflow and material handling.
8. Ensuring all lifting tools and equipment within the assembly and fabrication areas are regularly inspected, maintained, and documented in routine checklists.
9. Developing and reviewing key performance indicators (KPIs) for the production team to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
10. Promoting a clean, safe, and organized factory environment. Ensuring all health and safety regulations are strictly followed and immediately addressing any hazards.
11. Championing a strong safety culture by enforcing safety protocols and maintaining a hazard-free workplace.

What we're looking for

1. Relevant degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of working experience in an HVAC manufacturing environment (fabrication/assembly) is essential.
3. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and provide practical solutions.
4. Knowledgeable in machine maintenance related (mechanical, electrical & hydraulic).
5. Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, external vendors/suppliers.
6. Good at reading and interpreting engineering drawings and having experience in sheet metal processes.
7. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
8. Familiarity with production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
