You will maintain hygiene standards, document client preferences, upsell related services, stay updated on trends, and collaborate with the team to provide exceptional salon experiences.

Qualifications

• Recognised manicure qualification from an accredited beauty school.
• Proven salon experience as a manicurist.
• Strong knowledge of nail care techniques and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and high-quality results.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and grooming.
• Knowledge of nail art trends desirable.
• Bilingual abilities (English and Bahasa Malaysia or Mandarin) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Providing professional manicure services including nail shaping, buffing, polishing and nail art design
• Conducting thorough consultations with clients to understand their preferences and recommend appropriate nail treatments
• Maintaining strict hygiene and sanitation standards for all tools, equipment and work surfaces
• Keeping detailed records of client preferences and treatment history to ensure personalised service
• Suggesting and upselling complementary nail care products and treatments to enhance the client experience
• Staying updated with the latest nail trends, techniques and products in the beauty industry
• Maintaining a clean, welcoming and organised nail station at all times
• Building strong client relationships to encourage repeat bookings and referrals
• Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth salon operations
