Job description

Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM/Diploma or higher.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to meet sales goals.
  • Self-motivated, independent, and willing to travel.
  • Proficiency in English, BM, and Mandarin (for Japanese restaurant clientele).
  • IT proficiency (MS Office, Email).

Remuneration & Benefits:

  • Basic Salary: RM1,800 – RM2,500 (based on experience)
  • Commission: RM1,600 – RM2,000 (total package up to RM4,700)
  • EPF, SOCSO, EIS, Medical Insurance (after confirmation)
  • Allowances: RM600 (Transportation), RM600 (Petrol), RM70 (Phone)
  • Working Days: Monday – Friday (Saturday standby for events)

Scope:

Sales Merchandiser – Klang, Selangor

Our client, a renowned Japanese company, specializes in high-quality traditional and modern sauces, aiming to bring authentic Japanese flavors to Malaysia. They focus on sustainability while catering to both individual consumers and the foodservice sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Visit and engage with clients to promote products and services.
  • Maintain client records and handle inquiries on pricing, availability, and credit terms.
  • Support roadshows, events, fairs, and sampling booths.
  • Supervise promoters and provide product training.
  • Demonstrate and present products to establish new business.
  • Conduct market research and set up meetings with potential clients.
  • Ensure stock availability for sales and demonstrations.
  • Negotiate deals, handle objections, and manage customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets.
