Job summary

You will conduct operational audits, review loan-to-value ratios, cash handling, and asset controls, then prepare clear audit reports and follow up on corrective actions with management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in internal audit, operational audit, risk management, or financial audit.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and professional judgement.
• Experience with cash controls, asset verification, and fraud risk management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operational audits of head office and outlet operations to ensure policy compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Review pawn documentation, gold valuation controls, loan-to-value (LTV) ratios, loan renewals, and overdue accounts to identify risks.
• Verify cash balances and pledged asset inventories, with proper tagging, storage, access control, and movement records.
• Investigate suspicious transactions and financial discrepancies, and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
• Prepare audit reports, propose improvements, and monitor the implementation of corrective actions.
