Job summary

PBS ADVISORY (PUCHONG) SDN. BHD. is hiring an Account Executive (Mandarin Speaking) at Setiawalk, Puchong Jaya. You will handle bookkeeping, month-end closings, and client reporting with accuracy and ownership.

Requirements: 3+ years in accounting and a Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Finance; Mandarin fluency is essential. ACCA/MIA/CPA or equivalent qualifications are a plus. Benefits include medical coverage and opportunities for promotion.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• ACCA, MIA, CPA, or equivalent qualifications are an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform bookkeeping and accounting entries, including accruals and adjustments.
• Prepare timely accounts for weekly, month-end, and year-end closings, along with aging reports and listings.
• Review accuracy of reports prepared by junior staff.
• Support the team lead in planning and supervising junior staff.
• Independently manage accounting and management reports, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Submit accounting reports and deliverables within agreed timelines.
• Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and manage movements.
• Ensure client deliverables meet quality and timing expectations.
• Resolve stakeholder queries and follow up on action points.
• Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned.
