Overview

We are hiring Junior to Lead Mandarin Translator for the Google Gemini project.

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable candidate in Mandarin to join our ML/AI Programs team. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Mandarin, with expertise in correcting and rewriting sentences. The primary responsibility will be to contribute to our language-related tasks, ensuring accurate and high-quality content.

Responsibilities

• Create prompts to test the boundaries of the LLM model to find vulnerabilities in the responses or the model’s ability to handle the prompt.
• Review and correct sentences in Mandarin for ML/AI programs, ensuring grammatical accuracy and clarity.
• Rewrite sentences to improve coherence, fluency, and natural language flow.
• Collaborate with the ML/AI team to understand project requirements and deliver tasks accordingly.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure accurate translation and interpretation of concepts.
• Work closely with the team to maintain consistency and quality standards across all language-related tasks.
• Provide linguistic insights and expertise to enhance the overall language performance of the programs.
• Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results.
• Work on rotational 24/7 shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification of a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Mandarin or any related field.
• Proficiency in Mandarin, both written and spoken, with an excellent understanding of grammar, vocabulary, and syntax.
• Expertise in correcting and rewriting sentences in Mandarin.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in language-related tasks.
• Familiarity with ML/AI concepts and terminology is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, collaborating effectively with colleagues.
• Excellent research skills to ensure accurate interpretation and translation.
• Strong time management skills to meet project deadlines.
• Willing to work on shift basis.
