Job summary

A leading company in lifestyle branding is seeking a Visual Merchandising Manager to enhance brand identity through strategic visual presentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in visual merchandising, effective team leadership, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud. Responsibilities include developing store experiences, VM guidelines, and managing visual merchandising strategies across retail locations.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years working experience in visual merchandising.
  • Experience in fashion retail industry would be advantageous.

Job description

Develop creative visual strategy that contributes to and is consistent with brand identity and business objectives, elevating brand through retail concept.

Develop creative visual merchandising strategy and manage execution of store interior/ fixtures, window displays, event environments and special project.

Develop full store experience program and best practices.

Develop VM guidelines and creative styling direction for stores and retail partners.

Create communication tools for good implementation and consistency of in-store merchandise assortment and presentation.

Oversee regional display initiatives and ensure alignment to overall global organizational objectives.

Lead team in all aspect of a collaboration from the idea phase to execution.

Oversee the overall aesthetic and creative look of the store.

Liaise closely with merchandising team to ensure correct product is launched and promoted based on marketing/merchandising calendar.

Work closely with merchandising/operations on respective store planogram.

Communicate closely with marketing team and supports all marketing activities/ campaigns efforts according to campaign planner.

Interact with store managers /designated in-store VM to maintain retail standards with maximization of sales in mind.

Uphold and maintain company /store standard.

Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market need to anticipate product.

Manage overall VM expenditures& placement for all VM prop orders.

Ensure products are displayed effectively.

Design window mood board concept.

Requirements

Possess at least Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising, Exhibition Design, Visual Communications or equivalent.

At least 5 years working experience in visual merchandising or shop display.

Has visual merchandising experience with ready-to-wear, accessories, and window displays.

Experience in fashion retail industry would be advantageous.

Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud software.

Resourceful, self-motivated, self-starter.

Possess own transport and willing to travel alone and after mall operating hours.
