This organisation is a fast-growing financial institution which strives to deliver the best experience for its customers. They offer multiple products and are currently looking for a Traded Market Risk Professional to join the fast-growing team.

Your new role

This Traded Market Risk role supports the development and enhancement of market risk policies, tools, and methodologies across the group. Responsibilities include preparing risk reports, monitoring risk limits, assessing new products, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting audits.

The role also involves contributing to system implementations, conducting market analysis, and ensuring adherence to internal and external guidelines. Candidates should have a relevant degree, at least five years of experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

What you'll need to succeed

To ensure your success in this role, you will possess:

• Bachelor's Degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, accounting, actuarial science, finance or a related discipline
  
• More than 5 years of experience managing Traded Market Risk in the banking industry
  
• Understanding of complex risk issues, strong analytical skills, decision-making power, resilience, and a sense of responsibility
  
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and also a great team player
