Job Description:
- Lead and manage the Marketing and A&P department and team, providing leadership and direction to achieve company objectives, goals, and KPIs.
- Develop and implement strategies and plans for the Marketing and A&P department to enhance profitability and meet KPIs.
- Plan, develop, and manage the department's budget; review performance and take remedial actions; conduct monthly reviews with superiors.
- Manage and improve mall footfall; optimize marketing events, activities, and promotions within the budget.
- Oversee marketing events, activities, space management, renewal, expiry, and documentation processes.
- Coordinate with event organizers, vendors, operators, and retailers to ensure proper approval and execution of activities.
- Review marketing budget and KPI performance, focusing on rental income, gross sales, rent growth, and mall performance.
- Ensure proper recording, filing, and documentation of all marketing reports and documents per SOP.
- Lead, guide, and train the marketing team, maintaining professionalism and high standards; support team negotiations.
- Address tenant, vendor, operator, and customer queries, requests, feedback, and complaints to improve services and maintain strong relationships.
- Monitor tenants, vendors, event organizers, and advertising income collection; analyze performance to ensure compliance and take legal actions if necessary.
- Verify and update event and activity data into the Yardi system for accuracy.
- Manage and monitor social media platforms to maximize engagement and brand awareness.
- Plan and execute tenant engagement and sales initiatives to increase overall sales and rent revenue.
- Coordinate with the finance department on billing, collections, and reporting.
- Prepare periodic performance reports for management review and improvement actions.
- Conduct market studies and gather information on competitors and industry trends for departmental improvement.
- Review and evaluate staff KPIs periodically; provide quarterly reports.
- Manage manpower development, coaching, training, and productivity enhancements.
- Review and improve SOPP; ensure full implementation and compliance.
- Promote teamwork within the department and across departments in a harmonious working environment.
- Maintain confidentiality of all departmental information.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management or the Head of Tenancy.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in tenancy or marketing, with at least 3 years in a management role.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Creative mindset with awareness of market trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to generate revenue is preferred.
- Willing to be based at Resorts World Genting.
