The role of a Manager, Talent Acquisition at foodpanda - Central Ops involves overseeing the entire recruitment spectrum, including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and internal mobility. Success in this role requires someone who thrives on challenges and is recognized for closing tough roles with demanding requirements.

What you will do:

1. Design recruitment strategies and collaborate with hiring managers to attract diverse candidates with the right skills and capabilities for current vacancies.
2. Manage fast-paced recruitment processes that may sometimes require deviation from standard guidelines/policies.
3. Lead the Recruitment team to meet targets and deadlines for both volume and niche hires.
4. Develop a deep understanding of business needs, hiring manager requirements, and specific talent pools.
5. Consult with stakeholders on the future direction of talent acquisition, including budgets, strategies, and timelines.
6. Manage all recruitment activities, including promotions and internal mobility.
7. Handle end-to-end recruitment processes, including contractual agreements, compliance with local legislation, onboarding, documentation, and employer branding initiatives.
8. Collaborate with local universities on internship opportunities.
9. Maintain and update the ATS system, ensuring job ads meet company standards and uphold our brand image.
10. Provide training and guidance on talent acquisition processes or systems for HR professionals and hiring managers.
11. Utilize various channels (internet, networking, social media) to source the best candidates for each role.
12. Study and provide insights on talent and EVP to keep the company aligned with market trends.
13. Work effectively with senior management across borders within the internal matrix.

Requirement:

• Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 6 years in Talent Acquisition, including experience hiring niche roles such as BI, Data Analyst, Fraud/Risk Analyst, CX, and volume contact center hiring.
• At least 3 years of leadership experience managing a team of 5 or more.
• Strong command of English.
• Experience with various interview methods and assessment tools.
• Experience managing recruitment across APAC, European markets (foodpanda, Yemeksepeti, foodora) — APAC, Europe, and Turkey.
