Job description

Lead the planning, development and delivery of the Company's sustainability initiatives. This will be focused on ESG related data collation and analysis, performance monitoring, effective awareness, modelling, planning and reporting.

Responsible for ESG related data collation and analysis, recommending ESG system establishment or program improvements to key functions and businesses.

Report on progress, benchmark indices, and identify gaps to senior leadership team.

Coordinate with various internal departments in promoting sustainability initiatives and programmes.

Support sustainability communication strategies and media actions on all channels, including company website and social media platforms.

Plan and prepare the company’s annual Sustainability report, and other relevant publications.

Research and keep updated to regulatory compliance requirements and industry developments in relation to sustainability that will impact company operations and engage with relevant departments to ensure compliance, when necessary.

Maintain external relationships with key ESG rating agencies ensuring that ESG performance is accurately communicated to and understood by investors and other key stakeholders.

Requirements

1. A Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Sustainability/Environmental Management Studies, Mass Communications or equivalent.
2. Minimum 3 years’ experience in the areas of Sustainability or Sustainability Reporting.
3. Familiar with local or international sustainability frameworks and standards including the preparation of Sustainability Report aligned with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and International Integrated Reporting framework.
4. Strong knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks & current topics related to sustainability/ESG.
5. Expert in MS Office and in presenting, summarizing and handling data.
6. Proficient in English language is a must. Proficiency in other languages will be an added advantage.
7. Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
