The Supply & Demand Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the balance between supply and demand to ensure product availability, reduce excess inventory, and meet customer expectations. This role involves close coordination with sales, marketing, and logistics to develop accurate forecasts, manage inventory, and align supply planning with business goals.
- Developing effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns
- Proposing and implementing solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy
- Successfully communicating forecast and inventory estimations to management
- Monitoring and reporting on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies
- Supporting management with risk assessments and mitigation activities
- Conducting monthly forecast maintenance
- Addressing demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner
- Assisting in developing annual budgets and streamlining costs
- Scheduling regular forecast review meetings with management & suppliers with MKT
- Maintaining demand planning processes to improve forecast accuracy
- Updating forecasts for new products, seasonal products, discounts, and promotions
- Working with team members to plan, coordinate, and execute demand planning activities
- Coordinating with inventory team to monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Customer Service Oversight: Provide leadership and guidance to the customer service team to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Monitor service metrics, handle escalated customer inquiries, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborative Engagement: Work closely with commercial teams, distributors, and global supply chain functions to understand market dynamics, demand variations, and customer requirements. Foster strong relationships to ensure accurate demand signals and effective supply planning.
- Ensuring proper workflow of supplier payment and finance process flow is in accordance.
Qualification
- Bachelor degree level or above in Business Administration / Logistic / Supply Chain Management
- High proficiency inMicrosoft Excel (Pivot, matrix, formula etc), Strong stock management skills,SAP user, strong supplier management skills, strong analytical skills, Good knowledge on transport regulation
- Proficient in English written and verbally
- Excellent negotiation skills and communication skills
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Product Supply, Control and Operations
- Candidate who can work in senai area will be considered.
