Summary
Detailed Description

The Manager of Strategic Supply Chain Management (Inventory) oversees various responsibilities including:

  • Managing material shortages and collaborating with Purchasing and SLM Teams to ensure clear to builds.
  • Acting as a liaison between customer project management and internal departments for new product requirements.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate demand management processes, managing excess, surplus, and obsolete inventory.
  • Collaborating on engineering changes, achieving inventory targets, and driving inventory performance metrics.
  • Leading the team in maintaining continuous material supply, analyzing capacity and material needs, and validating demand plans.
  • Reviewing and disposing of non-conforming materials, ensuring production schedules meet customer requirements, and managing financial impacts and inventory risks.
  • Executing the SIOP process, managing team training and performance, and optimizing personnel deployment.
  • Collaborating on supply flexibility programs, managing investments, and driving continuous process improvements.
  • Managing physical inventories, overseeing system design and maintenance, and ensuring compliance with global policies.
  • Maintaining knowledge of global transportation, trade regulations, and IT systems relevant to supply chain management.
Physical Demands
  • Position duties are performed in a normal office environment with light physical effort and occasional travel.
Typical Experience
  • At least 7 years of related experience, including 5 years in project management, NPI, and change management within electronics manufacturing.
Typical Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field, or equivalent experience in EMS environment.
