Job summary
FWD Takaful Berhad is seeking a dynamic Partnership/Business Development professional in Malaysia to identify and secure strategic partners for insurance product distribution. You will develop and implement strategies to hit sales targets and promote FWD insurance products through partner channels.
You will also train partner staff, support onboarding for new channels, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Relevant education in business/marketing/management
- Professional qualifications encouraged but not required
- Knowledge of insurance, banking and financial products is a plus
- Experience in insurance industry is favorable

- Develop and implement partnership strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Manage and grow new channels such as deposit executives and other emerging models within BSN.
- Promote FWD insurance products, including Credit Life, through partner channels.
- Conduct training and engagement sessions for partner staff to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.
- Support onboarding and operational setup for new channels and partners.
- Maintain strong working relationships with internal and external partners.

- Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies / Administration / Management / Marketing or equivalent.
- Preferably candidate with 5 years of relevant experience in insurance industry.
- Highly results oriented.
- Possess own transport and willing to travel.
- Knowledge of insurance, banking and other financial products.
- Sales and achievement-oriented with positive mindset and a good team player.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with multi-lingual ability.
