B. Braun is seeking a Manager / Sr. Manager in Production Controlling to oversee operational cost analysis and investment management in Penang. The successful candidate will lead cost systems development, report on KPIs, and analyze production cost variances to enhance operational efficiency. Candidates should possess a degree in finance or accounting with extensive experience in financial analysis and costing.

Analysis of operational cost control issues within designated area for report to the headquarter office or to Management.
Responsible for developing and maintaining in-house cost systems. May ensure data quality.
Responsible forcarrying out investment ROI calculation and preliminary or feasibility study of new product costing.
Familiar with knowledge in SAP OO, FI, CO modules.
Responsible for ROI, product costing feasibility study and product cost development.
Responsible for investment and asset management.
Responsible forcarrying out analysis of production cost variances/ deviations and propose improvement actions.
Ensure timely monthly reporting of investment projects, follow up of all investments progress and cash out status.
Carry out feasibility study of investment ROI calculation.
Responsible for production KPI/ SQDC reporting and deadline submission. (Monthly, quarterly or yearly)
Control and monitor manufacturing cost and to calibrate deviation of standard versus actual and perform analysis for cost improvement.
To provide preliminary costing to new products/processes (requested by Engineering & R&D & Production or Projects).
The job function listed is not exhaustive and shall also include any responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
Requirements:
Degree in Accountancy or Finance, or a professional qualification in ACCA or CIMA, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in variance analysis, cost accounting, financial planning, and forecasting.
Proficient in production costing and manufacturing reporting.
Capable of conducting investment ROI calculations and performing feasibility studies for new product costing, with strong knowledge in product cost development.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in both Bahasa and English.
Strong capability to work effectively within a diverse team.
Proficient in Power BI.
Strong financial analysis and reporting abilities.
Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
Familiarity with budgeting and forecasting processes.
Understanding of internal controls and compliance regulations.
Ability to drive continuous improvement and enhance operational efficiency.
Strong analytical, planning, and decision-making skills; adept at managing ambiguity and complexity.
Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines for ad hoc project feasibility calculations.
Well-versed in investment and asset management.
Skilled in analyzing production cost variances and proposing improvement actions.
