Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis & Modeling: Conduct preliminary financial analysis and modeling to support client and transaction needs effectively.
- Research & Industry Insights: Gather and analyze data from publicly available sources, including comprehensive industry, market, and company research using the Bank's subscribed databases, to deliver valuable insights.
- Problem Solving & Solution Development: Define key issues and articulate well-considered solutions, proactively identifying opportunities to enhance client value.
- Document Review & Analysis: Review essential client materials—such as proposals, pitch books, mandate letters, and credit papers—prepared by product partners, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client needs.
- Quality Control of Deliverables: Provide oversight on valuations, reports, information memorandums, feasibility studies, and senior management presentations to maintain high standards and impact.
- Client Experience Enhancement: Work with the Associate Director to ensure exceptional client experience and service levels, with a particular focus on mid-cap clients locally and across regions.
- Process Monitoring & Deal Execution: Assist in monitoring the implementation of transactions, ensuring efficient, timely delivery and successful deal completion.
- Client & Partner Collaboration: Support the Associate Director in working closely with product partners to identify and address any constraints affecting clients and their shareholders, ensuring tailored, proactive service.
Requirements
- Experience in client relationship experience in banking/investment banking and commercial banking environment preferred.
- Abreast with market environment, trends, regulations and clients’ businesses within the country and any of clients’ overseas affiliations and activities.
- Demonstrate excellent relationship building and management in terms of providing sound and appropriate Global Banking related advisory services. Disciplined approach to account planning and portfolio performance.
- Competent in relevant financial advisory product knowledge that includes corporate banking, global markets, investment banking, transaction banking and/or international financing areas.
