A leading property development company in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage tender submissions and oversee the accuracy of the Cost Plan. Qualifications
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in construction or property development industry.
- Experience in consultancy firm with on-site exposure will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in managing residential development projects.
Responsibilities
- Liaise and monitor the submission of draft tender documents by QS contender.
- Analyse and benchmark elements to ascertain the accuracy of the Cost Plan.
- Involve in procurement process including calling of tender.
- Monitor and process both consultants and contractors' progress payment with accuracy.

Responsibilities
- Liaise and monitor the submission of draft tender documents by QS contender.
- Analyse the elements and benchmark with similar projects/data to ascertain the accuracy of the Cost Plan.
- Pre-qualification of tenderers including identifying suitable tenderers, evaluate, and recommend a list of tenderers.
- Review tender and contract documents prepared by the Consultants. Assess the completeness of tender documents, contract condition and the special requirements of the Company.
- Involve in procurement process including calling of tender, review tender report, attend tender interviews, and prepare recommendation report to Management for award of contracts.
- Monitor and timely process of both consultants and contractors progress payment with accuracy.
- Review Variations Orders prepared by consultants, check contract provision on the submission to ensure the VO is genuine and claimable. Assist the Project Manager in cost control and update the evaluation of Provisional Variations Orders.
- Review final account prepared by Consultants and compile all relevant information on genuine variation orders for finalization with contractors and QS consultant.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Engineering, or equivalent.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in construction or property development industry.
- Experience in consultancy firm with on-site exposure will be an added advantage.
- Proven experience in managing residential development projects, including both high rise and landed properties.
- Strong understanding of the full Cost & Contract cycle, from project inception to final account.
- Strong capability in costing review, analysis, optimization and improvement as operational viewpoint.
