Join our Global Centre of Excellence Team and work closely with regional APAC stakeholders as a collaborative team player. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact financial operations, process improvements, and cross-border coordination in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise the finance team and oversee the end-to-end financial close process.

  • Ensure timely completion of all financial activities in accordance with corporate policies and timelines.

  • Prepare and post general ledger entries including invoicing, intercompany, payroll, accruals, prepayments, and bank reconciliations.

  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes including financial statement preparation, GST reporting, and tax computation.

  • Conduct monthly reconciliations, resolve discrepancies, and support audit and tax matters.

  • Analyze accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external auditors to meet reporting and audit deadlines.

  • Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance financial workflows.

  • Assist in implementing new procedures, policies, and systems.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for relevant finance topics and provide guidance to business units.

  • Support team deliverables and KPIs while contributing to strategic initiatives.

Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience with at least 2 years in a leadership role within a shared services environment.

  • Industry experience in Stockbroking or Asset Management is highly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance.

  • Meticulous, analytical, and adaptable with excellent attention to detail.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other financial systems/tools.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Proven ability to manage tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

  • Immediate availability is a strong advantage.
