About the role

UM SPECIALIST CENTRE SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced Security Services Manager to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the security operations and ensuring the safety and protection of our facilities and personnel.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement comprehensive security plans and procedures to safeguard the company's assets, people, and property

Manage and coordinate the activities of the security team, including scheduling, training, and performance management

Conduct regular security assessments and recommend improvements to enhance the overall security posture

Liaise with local authorities, emergency services, and other relevant stakeholders to maintain effective communication and collaboration

Investigate and report on any security incidents, and implement corrective actions as necessary

Ensure compliance with all relevant security regulations and industry best practices

Contribute to the development and implementation of security-related policies and procedures

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Security Management, Public Safety, or a related field.

Minimum of 15 years’ experience in security management, including at least 7 years in a supervisory or leadership role.

Certified by a recognized Auxiliary Police Training Academy with a valid Auxiliary Police License (AP) issued by the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM).

Strong leadership and team management capabilities.

Excellent communication skills in both Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Comprehensive knowledge of Malaysian security laws, PDPA, and healthcare compliance.

Proven experience in crisis management and emergency response planning.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Ability to work effectively with internal departments and external enforcement agencies.
