As a Manager, you will lead and oversee the development of AirAsia's and/or AirAsia X flight schedules, ensuring they are economically and operationally optimized. You will ensure all operational parameters and constraints are met, and oversee the accurate publication of flight schedules across platforms like airasia.com and Navitaire reservations system, maintaining high service quality from your team.

WHAT YOU’LL CHAMPION:

  • Team Leadership & Performance Management: Manage and develop your team, set KPIs, monitor performance, conduct reviews, and foster a results-driven culture.

  • Short and Long Term Schedule Development: Lead aircraft routing solutions creation, oversee scheduling processes, and align operational priorities with business goals.

  • Annual Budget Schedule Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop schedules aligned with the company's yearly budget and strategic goals.

  • Slots Management: Oversee the filing and monitoring of slot portfolios at airports.

  • Inventory Management: Transition flight schedules from planning to live mode, coordinate with the Preflight team during rescheduling.

  • Maximizing Revenue: Drive strategic scheduling to optimize revenue, considering demand patterns, holidays, and events.

  • Operational Excellence: Lead fleet changes, special events, and charter schedules to meet operational requirements and business goals.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with operational teams to balance various objectives and streamline schedule management.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Ensure clear communication of flight schedules with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Experienced Leader: 5-7 years of leadership experience, inspiring and developing teams.

  • Strategic Thinker: 7+ years in airline planning and scheduling, with a focus on route optimization and data analysis.

  • Problem Solver & Decision Maker: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills for effective decision-making.
