Account Managers are responsible for CxO level relationships within identified key service provider accounts. They should develop and implement customer-centric business strategies to expand the CommScope product portfolio, positioning CommScope as a strategic technical partner and thought leader.

The AM will lead the development of short and long-term strategies for growing revenue, identifying new opportunities, and understanding additional revenue streams. They are accountable for driving focused efforts, identifying customer technical requirements, presenting solutions, and closing opportunities. They will coordinate across global regions, interfacing with local CommScope Sales and Technical teams.

How You'll Help us Connect the World.

  • Engage at CxO level within the Account – regional and HQ – and coordinate executive-level alignment between the companies.
  • Develop, manage, and execute a Strategic Account Plan detailing objectives, responsibilities, and timelines for assigned accounts. Identify short/long-term product development goals and drive them into appropriate segment/product lines.
  • Collaborate to maintain strategic communication with all CommScope resources involved with assigned Strategic Accounts, including customer web portals, monthly reports, and updating SharePoint site. Mobilize internal resources as needed.
  • Maintain, grow, and strengthen CommScope's relationship within Strategic Accounts through collaboration with account teams and partners.
  • Coordinate executive-level alignment internally, collaborate with Sales Managers, and work with Field Sales responsible for the account.
  • Project manage larger deals and negotiations.
  • Identify customer problems and drive solutions within the appropriate business segments to achieve product approval status.
  • Maintain and adapt Strategic Accounts’ pricing strategies.
  • Coordinate consistent global or regional messaging and engagement strategies for key accounts.

Required Qualifications for Consideration.

You will demonstrate a strong background in global Engineering, Sales, and Business Development with technical acuity and the following experience:

  • Proven experience managing multi-million dollar customer accounts.
  • Minimum of 10-15 years’ experience in Field Sales or Strategic Account Management within IT infrastructure products or services.
  • Strong communication, organization, and presentation skills.
  • Proven expertise in account management, especially managing large strategic accounts.
  • Domestic and regional travel up to 50% will be required.
