About the role

This role leads tendering processes, manages a QS team, prepares bids, and supports engineering proposals and negotiations. The Manager ensures accurate cost planning, maintains supplier relationships, and oversees project handover, playing a key role in project success.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead and manage a team of quantity surveyors and support staff, providing guidance.
• Prepare quotations and tender documents for commercial and technical submissions.
• Conduct take-offs to prepare Bill of Quantities for design and build tenders.
• Develop value engineering proposals without altering the design purpose.
• Source and update contractor and supplier databases.
• Attend tender interviews, site visits, and relevant meetings.
• Prepare sample boards if required.
• Negotiate with external parties on costing, contractual terms, and variations.
• Manage all QS reporting.
• Build and maintain good relationships with clients and suppliers.
• Prepare tender BQ rationalizations upon project LOA.
• Assist in RFQ and subcontractor awards as needed.
• Prepare VO quotations for awarded projects if required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in interior design or related sectors.
• Proven ability to manage full-cycle tender submissions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of interior design products, materials, and drawings.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team, manage deadlines, and work independently.
