The person will develop qualification strategies, manage technical risks, and contribute to product qualification through rigorous testing and failure analysis. Additionally, they will advocate for customers, drive documentation of quality queries, and support digitalization projects aimed at improving process efficiency and automation.
Job Description
In your new role you will:
- Define and deploy quality targets for products based on customer market and application requirements, in addition proactively capture future goals.
- Align relevant quality requirements in close collaboration with internal business and operational functions.
- Develop a qualification strategy (technical) and plan (cost, time, resources) based on customer requirements or product and technology innovation.
- Contribute to technical risk management by method and product expertise as well as being a role-model of a challenging reviewer.
- Conduct product qualification according to plan including assessment of test and construction analysis results; in case of fails drive failure analysis and problem solving.
- Monitor the product quality performance from delivery release to end of life.
- Conduct risk assessment for products in volume production in case of product or production deviations.
- Act as an advocate for the customer and particularly focus on our client's needs in the course of problem solving.
- Drive information and documentation of product quality queries and qualification documents.
- Support digitalization projects to enable automatization, optimize effectiveness, turn around time and drive Infineon’s Next Level of Profitable Quality Leader.
Your ProfileYou are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A university degree or comparable education in Electrical Engineering, Physics or related area.
- 5+ years of working experience in the fields of Quality Engineering/Management in a technical environment and/or R&D/Engineering/Application of product and/or technology.
- Technical understanding regarding either the structure, function, manufacturing and/or application of semiconductor products, ideally advanced background on technology of silicon semiconductor materials.
- Ideally knowledge of tests and methods from reliability as well as failure analysis.
- Basic to expert level experience in quality methods such as e.g. FMEA, 8D and/or international standards as JEDEC/AECQ.
- Solid acting in a project management environment within cross-divisional teams.
- Experience in direct customer communication as an advantage.
- Fluent English skills.
