Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Overall lead plant QA team including quality management system, supplier quality management, in process quality control, outgoing QA and customer quality management.

Coach and manage QA staff to perform their role to meet company objective such as yield improvement and customer complaint reduction.

Work with QA team, operations team & maintenance team to improve production yield and ensure quality stability and consistency.

Prepare and implement Quality Control Plans, Inspection Test Plans and other Operational Procedures in accordance to the technical specifications, customer’s surveillance requirements, and good manufacturing / engineering practice and enforce the same on Operations in their execution.

Lead the customer quality team to assure proper response and handling of customer complaint with root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive actions, and audit to ensure action implementation and avoid reoccurance of problem. Work with Sales to reduce material return. Maintain good relationship with and assure sufficient and prompt support to customer for customer satisfaction.

Participate in or lead customer audits and inspections, providing documentation and support as required.

Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics and recommend areas for process improvement.

Hands on and work together with team on production floor to ensure all the improvement actions and projects are well executed and to the ground.

Provide training and mentoring to team members on quality control practices and quality assurance standards.

Requirements / Skills :

Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Computer Science or any field.

Process good knowledge of various statistical methods, quality management systems and strong background in ISO 9001 & ISO 14001.

At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required.

Excellent communication and leadership skill.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
