Manage a project implementation team and contractors to ensure products are constructed according to the required specifications, quality standards, project timeline, and budget constraints.

Design Development

• Review design/tender drawings and advise the PPD team on construction-related issues to ensure they are addressed prior to calling for tender and award.

Construction Planning

• Develop a comprehensive construction plan for the project, including logistics, construction methodology, and construction timelines, to ensure smooth implementation during the construction stage.

Construction Management

• Review, comment, and recommend approval for contractors' mandatory submissions, such as the HSE plan, logistics plans, safe work method statements, QA/QC plan, and progress reports.
• Review and comment on the contractor's baseline programme submission to ensure compliance with the overall development programme.
• Monitor construction progress regularly to assess if the project is on track or delayed.
• Collaborate with contractors to develop and implement mitigation programmes to address project delays.
• Conduct site inspections to verify that work is carried out according to project requirements, including specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Manage all technical and site-related matters to ensure the smooth implementation of construction works.
• Implement proper quality control procedures on-site to ensure products meet EW's quality requirements.
• Enforce the implementation of EW's HSE requirements during construction to ensure zero incidents and injuries.

Liaison with Key Stakeholders

• Build and maintain good rapport and actively engage with various stakeholders, such as authorities, consultants, contractors, and suppliers/vendors.

People Management

• Supervise team members to build a highly motivated and skilled team.
• Monitor the performance of individuals to drive a high-performance team.
