A leading medical technology company in Penang is seeking a Manager for Production (CNC 5-Axis Milling). The successful candidate will oversee manufacturing operations, ensure quality standards, and lead a team of supervisors. A degree in Mechanical Engineering and 5–7 years of CNC machining experience are required. Knowledge of ISO standards and experience in medical device manufacturing are significant advantages. Fluency in Bahasa Malaysia and English is essential.

Responsible for directing the manufacturing operations performed in a shift or group of production lines, ensuring they reach volume, quality, and cost goals.
Plan, direct, and monitor all production activities within an assigned area or unit to maximize the use of the organization's resources and meet established production specifications and schedules, volume, cost, and wastage targets, and quality standards.
Develop and implement manufacturing schedules and procedures, and allocate labor and capital resources to maximize productivity.
Analyze production, maintenance, and malfunction records to identify problems and recommend solutions (for example, changes to procedures, workflow, or equipment) that will improve performance.
Liaise with functional or operational area managers (for example, in supply and logistics, or sales) to understand their current and future product needs and develop plans, cost estimates, and schedules for integrating these needs into existing manufacturing activities.
Plan, prioritize, and manage production line maintenance or downtimes to minimize disruptions to manufacturing schedules.
Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of supervisors who are responsible for various production activities such as assembly, machine operation, processing, treating, or packaging.

Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field.
A minimum of 5–7 years of hands‑on experience in CNC machining, including at least 2–3 years of experience in 5‑axis milling.
Understanding of ISO standards, FDA regulations, and GMP procedures, along with experience using quality control tools such as 8D, CAPA, and SPC, and readiness for audits.
Knowledge of Industry 4.0 technologies, including machine monitoring, data analytics, and automation.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills to facilitate cross-functional collaboration.
Proven track record in leading teams of 30 or more operators and technicians.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM software.
Experience in medical device manufacturing is a significant advantage due to regulatory complexities.
Proficient in both written and spoken Bahasa Malaysia and English.
