The Manager, Product Management has the primary responsibility of providing training, guidance, and direction to assigned personnel to achieve the highest return on assets, in line with company policies and procedures. He/she will work directly with clients and principals, as well as purchasing and sales teams, to increase sales and profit margins.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, establish, and maintain an organizational structure and staffing plan to meet division goals and objectives.
- Oversee supervision of assigned personnel, including work allocation, training, problem resolution, performance evaluation, and personnel actions.
- Define the sales coverage area for division personnel.
- Ensure work production meets objectives, specifications, standards, and adheres to operating policies and procedures.
- Participate in developing company policies and procedures for efficient and safe division operations.
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend marketing strategies aligned with company objectives for product lines.
- Contribute to product design and development based on market needs.
- Coordinate the creation of marketing materials such as brochures and point-of-sale displays.
- Identify new sales prospects and assist in contract negotiations for major distribution deals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and principals.
- Develop and implement advertising and sales promotion plans.
- Achieve sales, margin, and profit targets for the division.
- Supervise regulatory personnel to ensure successful registration of new products.
- Review and ensure timely and accurate completion of relevant reports.
- Participate in preparing and managing the division's annual operating budget, monitoring expenditures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
