Job Summary
- The incumbent will be responsible for Product Management related to Ethical products, managing the Cardiovascular and other related therapeutic areas.
- To plan, organize, and implement activities aligned with Department marketing objectives, integrating brand strategies and local requirements through various marketing functions such as advertising & promotions, product management, and trade marketing.
- To support the management of the brands' P&L and ensure objectives are met through effective marketing strategies and plans.
- Support and implement the approved marketing budget, optimizing its utilization to raise brand awareness and promote sales.
- Gather market trend, share, and competitive information to evaluate marketing effectiveness.
- Balance various marketing activities including brand building exercises (conferences, roadshows, CME, product launches), education (internal & external training), and maintaining relationships with external suppliers and regional teams.
General Responsibilities
Advertising & Promotion:
- Develop and monitor A&P strategies to meet objectives.
- Coordinate with agencies to ensure cost-effective POSM.
Product Management:
- Ensure product range and selection meet market trends and requirements.
- Monitor local patient preferences and inventory levels within contractual agreements.
- Conduct financial feasibility studies for promotional activities.
- Lead new product launches, including planning, pricing, timing, sample preparation, POSM support, and display standards.
Functional Skills and Knowledge
- Preferably candidates with experience in Healthcare or pharmaceuticals.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, client management, and communication skills.
- Proven project management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of statistical analysis methods.
- Respect for cultural sensitivities in cross-cultural interactions.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in office tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Pharmacy.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience.
