Support the development and implementation of commodity and supplier strategies. Establish strategies aligned with operations and drive their implementation with relevant stakeholders and suppliers.

Job Description

In this role, you will:

1. Manage commodity sourcing for new development and alternative sources, sourcing from the global market to find the best suppliers and solutions that meet Infineon's product requirements while ensuring supply security.
2. Conduct cost analysis, develop cost models, and benchmark managed commodities. Gain a thorough understanding of commodity cost models to enable comprehensive value analysis and supplier comparison.
3. Analyze the supply market and develop market intelligence. Regularly survey market conditions and provide management with recommendations based on market trends.
4. Manage and develop suppliers, ensuring proper implementation of supplier management processes, including phase-in/out, evaluation, and relationship management with site procurement.
5. Drive continuous improvement in cost, quality, and delivery performance of suppliers in alignment with operational and developmental stakeholders.
6. Manage supply crises and recovery efforts in collaboration with site procurement when necessary.

Your Profile

You are suited for this role if you have:

• A Bachelor's degree.
• At least 8 years of experience in strategic procurement within high-tech or semiconductor industries.
• A strong strategic and analytical mindset.
• Excellent communication skills to build a broad internal and external business network and drive category and supplier strategies.
