Job description

ABOUT THE ROLE

The incumbent will oversee:

  • Leading monthly price forecasting and market outlook reporting by collaborating with Commercial for insights, analyzing market trends, and supporting strategic pricing decisions. Managing Enterprise Value computation for Group Base Oil and overseeing price discount frameworks. Ensuring proper contract governance and risk mitigation in all business dealings.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  1. Market Outlook and Price Forecast
  • Leading base oil price forecasting and market outlook reporting by leveraging market intelligence, historical trends, and industry insights to deliver accurate, strategic inputs for commercial planning and pricing.
  • Sale Price and Intercompany Transfer Pricing Management
    • Driving intercompany transfer pricing development for base oil by aligning with RMT EO, ensuring arm’s length pricing to maximize netback value. Leading internal sale price proposals through strategic cost-price analysis to support commercial decision-making.
  • PLI Enterprise Value Analysis and Reporting
    • Leading, managing, and driving the Enterprise Value (EV) analysis and reporting on system base oil for sales to captive and third-party customers based on monthly data from Finance. Consolidating, reviewing, and analyzing data to support the computation of the Base Oil EV and enable value optimization across various sales channels to achieve the best margins for the enterprise.
  • Price Fairway Management and Performance
    • Appraising requests for Fairway discounts by analyzing cost-to-serve and EV simulations, providing recommendations for approval based on EV thresholds. Implementing periodic reporting on fairway performance by tracking and evaluating enterprise value creation for each request to support claims for value transfer.
  • Contract Management & Performance
    • Overseeing the establishment of contracts for term and spot sales by engaging stakeholders, guiding on necessary clauses, and analyzing contract performance to provide visibility to the commercial team in driving sales volume and value while minimizing value leakage.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 8 years of experience in a related field, preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
    • Experience working in an international environment.

    • Proven numerical and analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
