Job summary

Prudential KL GPM team seeks a qualified MI professional to deliver high-quality management information, performance analysis, and remuneration planning for senior committees. You will enhance processes, support forecasting, and work closely with the KL and HK teams to manage urgent requests.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in finance/MI, strong Excel, Power Apps and VBA skills, and fluency in English. Experience in insurance/financial services is a plus; located in Kuala Lumpur.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science-related field (minimum).
• Over 5 years of relevant experience in GPM/MI roles or similar.
• Proficient in English communication, written and verbal.
• Professional qualifications in accounting/actuarial/investment/data analysis and risk management preferred.

The Group Head Office in Hong Kong supports business operations across Asia and Africa. The GPM Team sits within the Group Finance function covering management information (MI), performance management, actual reporting, forecasting, business plan and remuneration. The team in KL supports the team in Hong Kong on all deliverables and processes, working closely with the Hong Kong team on a daily basis.

Job Scope

Work within the GPM team to deliver high-quality management information (MI), performance management analysis, actual reporting, forecasting, planning and remuneration to senior committees, including the Group Executive Committee (GEC). Continuously enhance and improve underlying processes and the quality of deliverables by identifying and implementing improvements to checks and controls, increasing efficiencies and optimising working files. Support urgent requests and BAU deliverables in a timely manner while maintaining a good balance between flexibility and control.

Key Accountabilities

• Support various GPM Excel based deliverables, including MI, performance management analysis, actual reporting, forecasting, planning and remuneration.
• Enhance and optimise existing work files, processes and controls.
• Collaborate with KL and HK team to deliver urgent ad-hoc requests.
• Coordinate closely with local businesses and Group teams.

Core Competences Required

• Proficient in Excel and other Microsoft Suite applications e.g., Power Apps, VBA.
• Perform well under pressure

• Strong teamwork skills, communication and interpersonal skills
• Preferably knowledgeable in the insurance or Financial Services industry

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's degree in science-related field
• Over 5 years of relevant experience
