Qualifications

Job description

Job Descriptions:

Responsible to oversee end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll, compliance with statutory regulations, and implementing best practices.

Possess a strong leadership, analytical skills and expertise in payroll management, taxation, and labour laws. The ideal candidate will drive process improvement, manage a payroll team, and collaborate with HR, Finance and external vendors or auditors.

  1. Oversee day-to-day payroll operations, including but not limited to payroll processing, allowances, and employee record management.
  2. Ensure compliance with all statutory requirement, local and overseas payroll, including tax filing and reporting.
  3. Manage year-end payroll activities, including generate EA, E form, Tax audit etc.
  4. Lead, mentor, and develop the payroll team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  5. Define role, set performance expectation, and conduct regular review.
  6. Resolve complex payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.
  7. Optimize payroll process for efficiency, accuracy, and automation.
  8. Generate payroll reports for management, audits, and financial report.
  9. Ensure data integrity and security in payroll records.
  10. Liaise with external payroll providers, tax agencies and auditors.
  11. Collaborate with HR, Finance, Legal and other department on payroll-related matters.
  12. Ensure internal controls and compliance for payroll operations.
  13. Lead internal and external payroll audits, addressing findings and recommend for improvement plan.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's Degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or other relevant discipline.
  2. Minimum 7-8 years working experience in Payroll or relevant.
  3. Able to monitor a team of more than 10 staff.
  4. Proficient in Mandarin, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
  5. Detail oriented, with quick numerical and mathematical mind.
