Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop, maintain and enhance comprehensive ORM and BCM framework, including related Policies, SOPs, assessments, and plans.
  2. Manage Loss Event and Key Risk Indicator reporting (to management and to BNM).
  3. Coordinate, facilitate and collaborate with Business / Support Units to implement and monitor BCM exercises, including monitoring of the activities / exercises at the BCP alternate sites.
  4. Keep abreast of developments in the operating environment and ensure that the Bank’s Operational Risk Management activities and tools remain current, which includes continuous enhancements to the Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), Self-Audit Checklist (SAC), Key Risk Indicators (KRIs), Loss Event Data (LED) collection and Scenario Analysis (SA).
  5. Assist Business / Support Units in identifying, measuring, monitoring, and controlling operational risk, and track operational risk levels and control effectiveness against risk thresholds.
  6. Conduct operational risk stress testing.
  7. Conduct ORM and BCM workshops, training, and awareness programs.
  8. Prepare ORM and BCM reports for Management and Board.
  9. Perform the BCM Committee secretariat duties, including coordination of meeting matters such as setting meeting dates and preparation of meeting materials and minutes.
  10. Any other duties assigned as and when required.
Job Requirements
  1. Possess Bachelor Degree in Risk Management, Business Studies, Finance or other equivalent.
  2. Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, focusing on business continuity management or operational risk.
  3. Strong knowledge of BCM framework and regulatory requirements.
  4. Keep abreast of BCM best practices and remain resourceful.
  5. Professional certification in Risk Management or BCM is an added advantage.
  6. Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders at different levels.
  7. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
  8. Proficiency in MS Office.
  9. Good command of verbal and written English.
