Job Overview

This position is responsible for leading and developing the overall strategy and revenue generation for the market. The role involves generating additional business with existing accounts and reporting to the Bursar. Duties include planning, monitoring, and executing tasks assigned by the Bursar, as well as independently implementing strategies as directed by the department or Bursar.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the team, serving as a team leader.
  • Manage departmental operation budget and costs according to the annual allocation to ensure resource efficiency.
  • Develop, monitor, and recommend improvements in sales processes, sales plans, and customer/student satisfaction.
  • Plan and execute targeted recruitment media campaigns to establish talent pools.
  • Participate in student recruitment, marketing activities, and the development of team members (telemarketing, consultation).
  • Engage in marketing activities such as hostel booking and transportation management.
  • Travel or go on outstation visits within Sarawak, primarily on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
  • Gather pertinent business, financial, service, and operational information to identify strategic goals.
  • Make quality decisions and identify new opportunities for team growth.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and development of staff.
  • Support SD in organizing, planning, and implementing strategies.
Skills and Experiences
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a related field.
  • Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and local dialects.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in recruiting and performance evaluation is an advantage.
  • Sense of ownership and pride in performance.
  • Own transportation is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Over 3 years of experience in sales or related roles.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and delegation skills.
  • Own transportation.
