Job Description

Responsibility

Event Management:

  • Strategy and Planning: Develop comprehensive event strategies aligned with organizational objectives, target audience, and budget.
  • Conceptualization and Execution: Lead the planning and execution of a variety of events, including conferences, seminars, workshops, webinars, fundraising galas, product launches, and internal events.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing ROI.
  • Vendor Management: Source, negotiate with, and manage external vendors, including venues, caterers, AV providers, decorators, and entertainment.
  • Logistics and Operations: Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including venue selection, registration, attendee communication, on-site management, and post-event follow-up.

Marketing and Promotion:

Collaborate with the cross-function teams to develop and implement event marketing and communication plans to drive engagement, traffic and conversion.

  • Content and Programming: Work with internal teams and external vendors / partners to develop engaging event content and programming.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with events.
  • Post-Event Evaluation: Conduct thorough post-event evaluations, analyze results, and provide recommendations for future improvements.
  • Staying Updated: Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in event management.

Strategic Partnership Management:

  • Identification and Research: Identify and research potential strategic partners that align with the organization's goals and values.
  • Cultivation and Outreach: Initiate and cultivate relationships with prospective partners through networking, outreach, and compelling proposals.
  • Proposal Development: Develop and present partnership proposals that clearly articulate mutual benefits and objectives.
  • Negotiation and Agreement: Negotiate partnership terms and develop formal partnership agreements.
  • Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for strategic partners, fostering strong and collaborative relationships.
  • Collaboration and Execution: Work closely with internal teams and partners to implement partnership initiatives and ensure successful execution.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and evaluate the performance of partnerships against agreed-upon metrics and KPIs.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates and reports on partnership activities and outcomes to internal stakeholders.
  • Expansion and Growth: Identify opportunities to expand existing partnerships and explore new collaborative ventures.
  • Market Awareness: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential partnership opportunities.

Requirement

  • Min bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
  • Experience and season Manager with min 10 years of proven experience in event planning and management, with a track record of successfully executing diverse events.
  • Min 8 years of experience in developing and managing strategic partnerships, with demonstrated success in building and maintaining strong external relationships.
  • Strong understanding of campaign planning, event marketing, budgeting, and logistics.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication ( written and verbal ), and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite ( Word, Excel, PowerPoint ).
  • Experience with event management software and CRM systems is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the retail or mall industry landscape is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
