Job description

Our client is a leading and well-established company specializing in subsea cable solutions. This role is responsible for managing daily logistics operations—including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management—to ensure cost efficiency, compliance, and timely delivery. This role focuses on streamlining processes, improving supply chain performance, and enhancing customer satisfaction through cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee logistics operations: transportation, warehousing, and inventory.
  • Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to customers and internal teams.
  • Optimize logistics processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records; conduct audits and resolve discrepancies.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to avoid stockouts and overstocking.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and 3PLs for seamless operations.
  • Negotiate transport contracts and manage related budgets.
  • Develop logistics strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
  • Supervise and develop team members; maintain high morale and performance.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and storage space.
  • Address and resolve logistics issues promptly.
  • Track and report on logistics KPIs and performance.
  • Work closely with procurement, sales, and customer service.
  • Coordinate timely material and product deliveries with suppliers/vendors.
  • Participate in cross-functional supply chain improvement projects.
  • Present logistics performance reports to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate logistics documentation and shipment tracking.
  • Manage 3PL relationships for quality and timely service.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and 3PL operations.
  • Proven experience in optimizing logistics processes and managing budgets.
  • Excellent understanding of local and international logistics regulations and compliance requirements.
