To manage the Learning and Development function in the day-to-day operational requirement within the Human Resource scope, to meet the demand of the Management and the internal customers. To design and deliver training programs, develop learning courses, career plans, workshops and fundamentally assist in the organisation's success, by coaching and developing employees.

Duties & Responsibilities

Leadership Management

Providing leadership in inspiring, advising, managing and overseeing subordinate that comes under the direct reporting and functional reporting line.

Train and coach staff in the Learning & Development unit to build up their capability in handling the TMC Life Science Berhad’s (TMCLS) learning & development functions and other related job scopes/functions under your area of supervision.

Influencing employees to perform to their highest standard and establishing a trusting environment to enrich the culture.

Focus on the mission and well-being of the department, and organisation.

Program Development

Develops training and development strategy and curricula. Ensures training programs support the changing needs of the business and address new initiatives, with an emphasis on current trends and practices.

Lead the L&D team in planning and delivering the training programs in line with the company goals in staff development and competency enhancement initiatives.

Continuous assessment and improvement on existing training curriculum and programs to ensure the goals are achieved.

Develop training program based on needs identified (this should include session plans, training notes for participants and post-training assessment modules).

Program Delivery

Utilize innovative practices, research, insight, experience and understanding of the needs and culture of the organisation to develop and deliver instructor led, e-learning, or blended learning programs to develop leadership, communication, service, performance and productivity skills.

Coordinate established courses with technical and professional courses providers.

Search and work with third party consultant to support the execution of training programs.

Review programs for continual improvement of training programs that is in line with industry needs.

Analytics/Reporting

Training Reports - every department monthly training performance

Master list of training for Quality Management - Competencies

Post 2 months evaluations - analyse and implement improvements

Control training expenditure - training budget spending - track the costs vs ROI

Track each staff's training/learning path so far. How many trainings and the improvements. Strategize on the future of training in TMCLS.

Requirement

· Diploma or Degree In Human Resources Management / Business Studies or equivalent.

· Minimum 5 years learning and development experience in a management capacity.

· Familiar with Malaysia Employment, Labour Law, EPF, SOCSO and etc

· Computer literate in MS applications – EXCEL, PPT, WORD.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal & presentation capabilities.

· Dedicated and determine to meet deadlines

· Process strong analytical skills, meticulous and a team player.

· Excellent command of English and Malay.

· Excellent People Management skills and able to interact with all levels.
