Job description

Job Responsibility

  • Accountable for strategic and tactical planning of enablement of corporate information management.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with business stakeholders, developing knowledge of their strategic business plans to ensure that the FGVâs IT Strategy actively supports and in some cases drives these plans.
  • Oversees the development of organization-wide corporate information assets and manages architectural development projects.
  • Establish and maintain the Architecture map for as-is and target architecture components as well as the roadmap for implementing it.
  • Apply architectural principles, guidelines, standards, reference architecture, patterns, and frameworks to deliver consistent and cost-effective frameworks for re-use.
  • Interface and coordinate tasks with internal and external technical resources. Collaborates with Project Managers and technical directors to provision estimates, develop overall implementation solution plan, and serve lead as required, to implement installation, customization, and integration efforts.

Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years IT experience, of which 3 years have been in a Solutions Specialist role, developing and maintaining all facets of Enterprise Architecture.

Competencies

  • In-depth understanding of software development process, design patterns, etc.
  • In-depth understanding of DBMS and data warehouse technology and industry best practices.
  • Experience establishing architecture standards within a specialist discipline e.g. applications, data, and infrastructure.
  • Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong technical documentation skills.
