About the Role
Responsible for analysing the performance and associated risk of the investment portfoliosIn charge of production/review of accurate Customized Performance Attribution & Risk reports for Equity (EQ), Fixed Income (FI), Balanced and Multi-Currency (Institutional) Portfolios within specified timescales.
To prepare Daily Performance Attribution Reporting of various funds and asset class for the global clients.
Preparing Returns, Attribution / Contribution analysis, Risk characteristics report of multi asset manager funds while crafting and maintaining ad-hoc customized reports.
Identify, highlight and resolve the anomalies in Attribution, Risk and Performance numbers and provide the accurate justification.
Proactive research and provide insight on investment performance, deviations from benchmark, asset allocation targets and portfolio movements to clients.
Coordinate with data providers, colleagues and clients on issues relating to the quality and timeliness of data and the content of the reports.
Collaborate with other teams and team members working for the same projects and identify business operational areas of improvements and propose appropriate action plans, along with performance reporting.
Ensuring documentation of policies, procedures and work processes and ensuring compliance with set procedures, any other assignments given by the management from time to time.
Provide business requirement to technical team for building performance reporting data model.
Identify the areas of automation and shall be able to develop data scripting to access database tools independently.
Job Requirements :
In-depth knowledge and understanding of Equity, Fixed Income and Multi Asset Class Portfolio Performance Measurement & Attribution reporting and Risk reporting.
Experience in Investment Management Projects skills and have 4-8 years of relevant exposure in investment performance reporting
Proficiency in Bloomberg PORT, Eagle IBOR, Aladdin, Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Office applications particularly advanced Excel skills.
Proven understanding and exposure to financial markets and various financial products (including performance analytics).
Relevant working experience of data model and process design
Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills.
A degree or equivalent experience in a Finance, Technical, Mathematical field
Professional certifications in CIPM & CFA would be an added advantage
