PTB was incorporated on 21 September 1994 under the Companies Act 1965 and registered as a Trust Company under Section 4 of the Trust Companies Act 1949. We are therefore authorised to provide the full complement of trust services to both individuals and corporations. As a Bond Trustee registered with Securities Commission Malaysia, we are also empowered to act as Trustee for Unit Trust Funds and Real Estate Investment Trust.

In line with our expansion and quest for quality excellence, we are seeking dynamic and career-minded individuals to join our team for the following position/s:

Job Description:

  1. Responsible for the full spectrum of human resource and talent management activities including but not limited to recruitment & selection, employee relations, compensation & benefits, training & development, counselling and payroll processing.
  2. Developing job descriptions, preparing advertisements, screening job applications, interviewing and selecting candidates when required.
  3. Ensuring employee experience in the recruitment and selection processes is consistent with the employment brand.
  4. Developing recruitment pipelines, improve recruitment practices and promote consistent employment brand to the market.
  5. Managing performance review process and monitor compliance.
  6. Coaching partners, associates and staff on the process.
  7. Reporting on success measures of process and analysing performance review data to determine areas of focus required.
  8. Conducting and analysing Exit Interviews.
  9. Monitoring of termination processes including return of Firm property and liaising with payroll.
  10. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies regarding dismissals.
  11. Work with Partners and Managers on workforce planning.
  12. Implementing remuneration strategy including annual benchmarking process.
  13. Create and implement succession plans for key personnel and develop programs aimed at their retention and growth.
  14. Draw up yearly training plan for the firm to ensure necessary skills and capabilities are developed across all levels.
  15. Review and plan training modules as necessary.
  16. Oversee and facilitate training sessions.
  17. Conduct training on general areas.
  18. Develop actionable strategies and solutions aligned with the firm's Talent Management objectives.
  19. Developing, drafting and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  20. Continuously audit existing talent management programs and processes to determine areas for improvement.
  21. Reinforce key programs and ensure execution.
  22. Alternate payroll processing with Finance Manager.
  23. Lead the Newsbytes committee and Talent Management committee.
  24. Any other related work and ad-hoc projects.

Job Requirements:

  1. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Organization Development or its equivalent.
  2. Possesses a minimum of 6 years related working experience with at least 3 years in supervisory role.
  3. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively address all levels within the firm.
  4. Experience in developing and implementing talent management strategies, including talent identification, succession management and business processes.
  5. Experience in conducting interviews and workshops.
  6. Knowledge and familiarity with management and talent management related strategies and concepts is important.
  7. Proficient knowledge on the entire HR Portfolio. Possesses the ability to solve complex HR issues and demonstrates keen critical thinking skills.
  8. Computer literacy is critical and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is a must.
  9. SAP HR experience would be an advantage.
  10. Is well versed with the Malaysian employment laws, regulations and trends.
  11. Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.
  12. Mature and professional in approach.
