- Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and lead the overall compensation & benefits strategy for the organization, in alignment with business objectives & competitive market practices.
- Design & implement innovative compensation structures, including basic salary, variable pay, equity plans & executive compensation packages.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave policies & others.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and senior leadership to ensure alignment and buy-in for compensation and benefits programs.
- Provide guidance and expertise on compensation-related matters, such as job evaluations, salary structures, promotions, and retention strategies.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to compensation and benefits, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Stay informed about legislative changes and industry trends related to compensation and benefits, recommending necessary updates to policies and programs.
- Lead the annual performance review process, working closely with business leaders to ensure effective performance management and merit increase programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or any related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Compensation Professional, Certified Benefits Professional) are preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in a compensation and benefits role, preferably in a large organization or multinational company.
- Deep knowledge of compensation program design, job evaluation methodologies, salary structures, incentive plans, and executive compensation practices.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends to drive informed decision-making.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to effectively lead and develop a team of compensation and benefits professionals.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Work location can be based in Klang or Bangi.
