Job summary

Prudential Services Asia seeks a data analytics leader to drive transformation reporting and analytics across the Group. You will develop executive insights and KPIs to support investment decisions and monitor portfolio performance.

You will own data governance, mentor analysts, and partner with stakeholders to deliver automated, self-service analytics and dashboards that enhance decision making.

Qualifications

• Degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics or related field.
• Significant analytics/BI experience in portfolio reporting.
• Strong Power BI, data visualisation and dashboard skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead the development and evolution of transformation reporting and analytics capabilities across the Group.
• Provide executive-level insights and analysis to support investment decisions.
• Identify trends, risks, opportunities and performance drivers across the portfolio.
• Develop meaningful KPIs and performance measures to support effective portfolio management.

Transformation Insights & Decision Support

• Automate portfolio, financial, people and benefits reporting across portfolio.
• Establish integrated views of delivery performance, investment spend, benefits realisation and strategic outcomes.
• Support leadership discussions through data-driven insight & scenario analysis.
• Ensure reporting provides a clear view of portfolio health, value delivery.

Reporting, Data & Governance Ownership

• Own reporting standards, data definitions and governance processes across transformation reporting.
• Establish controls to ensure data quality, consistency and reporting integrity.
• Act as custodian of portfolio and benefits management data.
• Lead data remediation, validation and quality improvement initiatives.
• Support audit, assurance and regulatory requests relating to transformation data and reporting.

Analytics Platform & Continuous Improvement

• Own the administration, optimisation and adoption of transformation reporting tools.
• Lead the design and delivery of dashboards and automated reporting capabilities.
• Drive continuous improvement of reporting processes, data management practices.
• Identify opportunities to reduce manual reporting effort through automation.
• Promote self-service analytics capabilities where appropriate.

Stakeholder Leadership & Business Partnering

• Influence reporting priorities and drive accountability for data quality standards.
• Manage relationships with external partners and vendors supporting analytics and reporting capabilities.

Capability Leadership

• Provide coaching and guidance to analysts and project resources where required.
• Promote a data-driven culture and enhance analytical capability across the transformation community.

Essential

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

• Degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• Significant experience in analytics, business intelligence, portfolio reporting or management information roles.
• Strong Power BI, data visualisation and dashboard development expertise.
• Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities.
• Experience designing executive reporting and management information solutions.
• Experience establishing data governance and reporting standards.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, including engagement with senior leadership.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical analytical solutions.

Preferred

• Experience within insurance, financial services or large-scale transformation programmes.
• Experience with portfolio management, benefits management or transformation governance frameworks.
• Experience with Kiplot, portfolio management platforms or similar reporting solutions.
• Knowledge of Power Query, Python and reporting automation tools.
• Experience supporting audit, regulatory or assurance activities.
