Job Description

Accounts Payable (AP)

1. Oversee the end-to-end AP process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and refunds.
2. Ensure appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment, in compliance with company policies, procedures and timeline.
3. Review Account Payables aging and clear overdue outstanding.
4. Work with other departments and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and disputes.
5. Implement AP automation tools and streamline workflows for better efficiency.
6. Ensure bank reconciliation related to AP are monitored and cleared on a timely basis.
7. Troubleshoot and manage the problems encountered by the AP team.
8. Train and guide AP executives on policy guidelines and managing workloads to ensure efficiency.
9. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Accounts Receivable (AR)

1. Check and perform posting of invoices and credit notes. Ensure compliance to E-invoice procedures.
2. Work with other departments/IT to resolve any invoicing or system issues.

Requirement

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Finance or an equivalent professional qualification.
2. Minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience and preferably 2 to 3 years in a management role.
3. Strong knowledge of AP processes with sufficient knowledge in Service tax and Withholding taxes.
4. Proficient in accounting ERP system (Preferably SAP).
5. Mature in personality and has excellent communication skills.
6. Self-driven and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines for monthly reports and closing as well as related ad hoc activities.
