Job Description
Accounts Payable (AP)
- Oversee the end-to-end AP process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and refunds.
- Ensure appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment, in compliance with company policies, procedures and timeline.
- Review Account Payables aging and clear overdue outstanding.
- Work with other departments and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and disputes.
- Implement AP automation tools and streamline workflows for better efficiency.
- Ensure bank reconciliation related to AP are monitored and cleared on a timely basis.
- Troubleshoot and manage the problems encountered by the AP team.
- Train and guide AP executives on policy guidelines and managing workloads to ensure efficiency.
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Check and perform posting of invoices and credit notes. Ensure compliance to E-invoice procedures.
- Work with other departments/IT to resolve any invoicing or system issues.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Finance or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ relevant working experience and preferably 2 to 3 years in a management role.
- Strong knowledge of AP processes with sufficient knowledge in Service tax and Withholding taxes.
- Proficient in accounting ERP system (Preferably SAP).
- Mature in personality and has excellent communication skills.
- Self-driven and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines for monthly reports and closing as well as related ad hoc activities.
