A leading company in the construction industry is seeking a finance manager in Kuala Lumpur to oversee financial operations, including managing accounts and budgets, ensuring compliance with regulations, and conducting feasibility studies for business projects. The ideal candidate should have significant experience in finance, particularly within the construction sector, and possess requisite professional qualifications.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of management accounts and financial reports, to analyze report variances and facilitate management decision-making.
Prepare annual budgets, business plans, profit and cash flow forecasts, and projections to monitor the finances of the business unit.
Prepare, monitor, and update project feasibility studies as required.
Conduct feasibility studies for business development to support management in strategic planning.
Assist in formulating, implementing, and monitoring the Accounting and Treasury Policies and Procedures of the Finance Department, ensuring compliance with Group Policies.
Responsible for the computation and submission of tax returns to the Inland Revenue Board, in accordance with Malaysian Income Tax Regulations.
Liaise with auditors, tax agents, solicitors, authorities, bankers, and other professionals on financial matters.
Manage current and new funding requirements.
Coordinate with authorities (DBKL & MOH Privatization Agreement) on financial matters.
Implement new accounting systems (URS & UAT) with GICT and Group Accounts, including system migration and data accuracy checks.
Supervise, guide, and motivate subordinates.
Perform special or ad-hoc projects as assigned by superiors.
Requirements:
