Manager, Employee Benefits Pricing & Data Analytics

Summary of the role: Drive APE, VNB and persistency targets through accurate pricing and data analytics, and manage regulatory reporting.

Reports to: Chief Corporate Solutions Officer

Responsibilities:

  1. Review and provide technical advisory on quotations for all Employee Benefit products, ensuring both profitability and growth.
  2. Oversee the building, maintenance and utilization of data tools to convert data into value for the company; supporting and providing competitive edge to Sales and Operations.
  3. Contribute to business strategic planning, integrating commercial and technical knowledge to achieve business goals as per company strategies.
  4. Perform annual experience study on technical rates used in pricing template. Monitor loss ratio to ensure current and future pricing is sustainable and meets company’s profit requirement.
  5. Manage and provide trainings to assure performance of a group of 6 and their interactions with both internal / external clients to maximize each individual’s output to the department & company.
  6. Be in touch with national and regional market updates and provide technical expertise / gate-keep on the development of enhancements to current benefits.

Requirements:

  1. In-depth insurance knowledge (around 5 years’ experience) and good analytical skills.
  2. Sound knowledge of VBA and basic knowledge on SQL.
